Lisbon Hip Symposium

  • The International Hip Symposium is a regular meeting on hip pathology that takes place in Lisbon

To date, four editions have been organized in Lisbon, providing an update on the vascular anatomy, imaging and physiology of the hip joint. In addition to the usual surgical treatment options for femoroacetabular impingement, adult dysplasia and growing hip pathology, some more recent concepts of hip instability without obvious dysplasia, rarer morphologies in the growing hip and surgical strategies to minimize complications are discussed. Long-term results of conservative hip surgery in general and in some specific subpopulations are presented.

The faculty is made up of a panel of distinguished opinion leaders from various countries.

A 5th edition of this event will be announced shortly.
